Relax and enjoy yourself. This is a nice place to go and not worry about being the sharpest tack on the bulletin board. Everyone at MR is smarter than your average gibbon, but we don't let it define us. IQ is just a number, and you can cheat on the test anyway. It's what you do with the opportunities a big brain brings (alliterative!) that matters.
Not to be confused by my case, in which I'd say being the brightest sort of hindered me, because there were so many people with such high expectations for me. I assume they are dealing with the disappointment somehow.
Hey all of you geniuses who think IQ matters, listen up: I survived a terrible head injury 2 yrs ago. It's at the root of a lot of my vision loss. My brain is OK, although some would disagree. MOST IMPORTANTLY - I HAVE A GREAT STORY TO TELL WHEN I'M WITH A CROWD. You don't get those kinds of experiences if you never come out of your ivory tower, and that's a waste.
