Assuming the ePub is a well formatted book file and not just an auto convert of the doc with unknown quality then ePub to AZW3 with either Calibre or KindleGen/Kindle Previewer would be my choice.

Otherwise the doc or docx file could be used with the send to Kindle option, it's just hard to say how the conversion will go. Not knowing what the formatting is of what you're trying to convert makes it hard to say. If it's a straight up text document it should go pretty well. If it's full of tables, graphs, charts, etc. I don't know.
