Could be, I'm not sure where I got that file. But whatever the source, the issue seems to be related to figuring out why when viewed in some readers, like the one with calibre, the first word of the first paragraph of each chapter begins with a larger bold capital letter, but the same file, when viewed on the device, displays the first word otherwise.
The same formatting code in the epub produces different results, in the different readers. So, it would seem that the problem is in how the different reading software handles the formatting code in the epub. Since at least one of the readers is displaying it in the expected manner, the fault is not in the epub file.
