I picked up a Kobo Wifi N647B for a good price ($30 Cdn). The first time I connected to my PC it tried to update the software, and like everyone else I ended up with a brick. The first tech support rep said I needed a replacement. 2 weeks later I contacted them and the 2nd tech support rep suggested a variety of resets (some of which were oddly for other Kobo models). Obviously none worked. The final response, one month later, is 1) your device doesn't work, and 2) we don't repair or replace the Kobo Wifi anymore.

So, if someone could send me a link to the SD card image I'll try to fix this myself ....
