Hello Gentlemen,
I recently adquired an used kindle 3 with Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities, The serial number starts with B006 A0A0 and the version is 3.4.1
Yesterday I tried to install the kindle calculator so I jailbreaked my device but then I had the exact same problem you described,.
When trying to update my kindle after copying the .bin file in the root directory, the "Update your kindle" option was grey. I tried with the 3 diferent files for the Kindle 3 in the lpad-pkg-001c.zip but neither worked. Does someone have any suggestions please?
