I don't automatically buy from Amazon either. It just turns out that their prices are usually better -- when getting free shipping. I do use their Prime Video (very little, so far) and their Prime Music (quite a lot). I also was able to get two free books this month -- both of which I actually wanted. I read one of them (not bad at all) but haven't got to the other one yet. So I feel I get my money's worth with Prime.
