I have been sideloading my Amazon books since the beginning of time. Well, perhaps only since 2009

. For the first time, I have sideloaded a book (azw3) that refuses to appear (visually) on my Voyage. When purchased, it was in mobi format and I then sterilized it in Calibre, converted to epub (for my Kobo H20), cleaned up some of the formatting and then converted it to .azw3. When sent to the Voyage via Calibre, the file does indeed show itself in /documents/ under the author's name as all my sideloaded books have in the past. However, the book does not appear on the Voyage, nor does a search come up with the sideloaded book, only a reference to the purchased book in the cloud.

As I have never had any previous problem with this process, can someone offer a reason why this could be occurring? I have tried reconverting from epub as well as converting azw3 => azw3 just for grins.

I am absolutely stumped and am terribly frustrated at not being able to solve my problem.

I would be forever grateful for any solution.
