I like mine. I bought it when they were clearing them out a while ago. If I remember correctly I got it for less than $10.
I got the red one for my red reader and then later I bought a black T3 for a spare. I really like it and am sad to see them go. Sony just recently announced they were closing all stores in Canada too. But I digress....
I find that it lights the whole page. It does get dim as it gets to the bottom but it's not a deal breaker for me. Now, whether that's because I paid $10 and not $60 may have a great deal to do with my attitude. I honestly don't know. I'm happy with it. The only ones left at the store I went to then were the white ones. I got the demo red cover. I think they were stuck with them because they had white lighted covers and NO white readers to go with it.
