On the plus side, the first few chapters are pretty engaging. I think I'm going to like this one.
Sometimes it helps to read on the tablet by changing the background color, altering brightness or using an app with a textured background. Try shifting your tablet angle or moving to a different spot to alter the lighting. Those are my best recommendations that work for me. Good luck!
