Making my own travel journal.

I love to keep travel journals of my trips and in the past I bought ready made ones. The drawback was that either a journal was meant for one trip, and since mine are at the most a week long I didn't use half of the journal. Or, when they were meant for multiple trips there wasn't enough space per trip for journalling.

Today I bought a notebook with blank pages and a brown paper hard cover. I first treated the back of the cover and the spine with gel medium to make it (hopefully) a bit more stain and moisture resistant. Just now I used gel medium to stick travel themed journalling cards on the front. When that's dry I'll put a pocket in the back to keep receipts, tickets and other small memorabilia in. I've got a die that can cut tabs and I'll use those to separate each trip.

I'm still thinking of decorating the inside of the cover, but I'm not sure yet.
