Thanks, Harry. The Kobo site seems to indicate micro SD for some models, like the Touch. That model looks to still be available. Might be the best replacement for a NOOK Simple Touch (to get both e-ink and microSD card).

Not an issue yet, as my NOOK is going strong. That other thread about screen damage started me thinking!
