What, so you'd like to get rid a whole literary genre because you don't like it, depriving the many who do like it of something they enjoy? That sounds like censorship to me. I may not like what you read, but I wouldn't want it to disappear completely, and I wouldn't be happy if it did. There's enough for everyone to read, and no need to read SF or whatever if you don't want to.
