well it's only just now in the last few days that the H2O has actually been released in Aus, and Kobo sells it for AUD229.95 (as advertised on the the kobobooks.com site).

And the retailers are charging $229 from memory. Anyway it's way over the top and ridiculous pricing.

As for the north America sites the H2O has been available since perhaps August (?) last year for around $179, so I wouldn't bet on a price reduction for a few months yet.
