Scene: The future. Archeologists are working frantically on a dusty dig, while one scientist is telling a reporter: "We only recently uncovered evidence that a vast library from the past has been buried here... fiction, non-fiction, textbooks, poems and periodicals that would be invaluable in our efforts to understand our ancestors. However, we've dug extensively, and it looks like we may have done all this work for nothing..."
Suddenly, a lot of commotion behind him. One of the archeologists is suddenly shouting and digging frantically, and joined by his companions. Suddenly he pulls something from the debris, and everyone starts cheering and celebrating.
The scientist starts exhorting, "Wait, it looks like... Yes! We've found it! The entre library is here! We've done it!" He rushes over to the archeologist, who is busy brushing dirt off of what we can now see is a reader. He presses a button, and it switches on... more cheering ensues, and one scientists breaks into sobs of joy.
Closing voiceover: "Posterity will thank you for it."
