Yeah I took it off airplane mode to transfer two books I purchased because I was being lazy to get the cable. Books transferred but I let it sit for a few minutes while I was messing with adding them to my Calibre library as well. Next thing I know, it's updating. Well, at least I didn't lose JB.
No way to cancel an update while it's running I'm assuming? Some devices that deal with firmwares generally have a backup where they can rollback if say it were to crash, although I can't see how you'd hard reset the kindle considering the power button .
