This is not what you're asking about, but it does pertain to an easy way to enter the same metadata in multiple books:

- Sort on the author column to get all your "Jim Butcher" books together and then highlight them.
- Click the Edit Metadata button or right-click the highlighed area and select Edit Metadata -> Edit in Bulk.
- Any data entered will occur in ALL the highlighted books. Powerful tool, so proceed with caution. You can easily make a bulk-mistake!
