There's seems to be a disconnect between my question and your answer.
QT5 has (had?) a known bug that caused Calibre to clear the clipboard when closing the program. I want to know if this has been fixed or not.
There's nothing to which I can "revert." If I copied text (a standard feature in every iteration of Windows I've ever used), closing Calibre emptied the clipboard. My preferred clipboard manager, ClipX, was interfered with by this bug, losing the last thing I'd copied. It did the same to several other clipboard managers (Ditto, ArsClip, ClipCube, Ethervane Echo, others) that I tried in hopes of finding one that was left unscathed.
As I stated before, that's unacceptable. Until this issue is rectified, I can't use newer versions of the program. That said, I'm simply trying to find out if this has been fixed or, if not, if it's going to be.
