I buy from them all the time. I get my books in about 5-7 workdays. It might take a bit longer since you're in NZ and I'm in Europe, but I still got my treebooks in reasonable time even when I was in Japan.
They sell mainly UK editions (which I prefer anyway, because covers), but they have some US ones too.

I am a huge Book Depository fan, its the only place I buy treebooks from.
Even after their prices went up a little, after Amazon bought out BD, they are still considerably cheaper than in stores here. Often its cheaper to buy new from BD than to buy second hand off Trade Me (NZ's version of eBay) especially with the free postage.
Books used to arrive in NZ in as little as 4 days, but since Amazon took over, its now around 2 weeks, but its worth the wait to pay around half the retail cost.
