I purchased a book at Kobo that wouldn't download -a self published DRM free epub. It gave me the "Oops..." error. Called customer service and the rep couldn't download it either. He placed the title in their "Bad Book List" and promptly gave me a refund.

I notified the author by email of the problem and repurchased the book from B&N without an issue.
