I second that, especially before reading the second book.
I've just finished the second Veronica Mars mystery, and don't quite know what I want to read next. I've got a terrible case of the flu, so something light I think.
As for the second VM novel, I really enjoyed it... don't know how much about it I can say without giving anything away!
