How do you price match the Google eBooks? Do you email them and provide a link? Is it any stores or just limited to Amazon? I noticed the eBooks from booksamillion.com are slightly cheaper than Amazon.
Google play is a place to check--they do the discounting and it's there some days and not others and sometimes select books. There are good bargains to be had, but it's just one of those things where they tend to match Amazon and B&N discounts and sometimes do their own. I think you said you aren't interested in any indie books, but those are discounted most of the time because we don't restrict the retailers (we can in some cases, but most of us usually don't).

SCRIBD is a subscription service. They often run trials for 1 to 3 months. It can be useful if you have two or three books you want to read, but are too expensive right now. You can use the trial, read the books and then buy them later. In case you wondered, the author and publisher do get paid even if you use the trial subscription. There's a thread around here where I posted a code for a 3 month trial for NEW members only. If anyone wants that code I can find the post. I do not know if it is still working, but it was a few days ago. You need a tablet for best performance. SCRIBD doesn't work on e-ink Kindles.
