Colleen McCullough dead at 77 ....
The wonderful Australian author Colleen McCullough has died at the age of 77 in the Norfolk Island Hospital.

McCullough had lived on Norfolk Island since the 1980's and had married a local man Ric Robinson.

I greatly enjoyed her books The Thorn Birds, Tim, An Indecent Obsession and others.

What an intelligent woman she was - a neuroscientist by day and an author by night for many years.
