Oh, and I wouldn't wait to read the Outlander series because they all may not be out. She's written 8 books in the series over the past 25 years. Who knows if/when she'll ever write the last one!
I love CM, she's one of my SPA exceptions. I have part of her most recent series, will have to check and see if it's all out yet.

LOVE the McKinnon Rangers. LOVE! So excited she's planning another book or two. I took a break from my medieval kick last year for a colonial kick.

Thanks for the other names, I haven't read any but I think I have a few Sherry Thomas in Mount Readmore.

Thanks so much for all those recommendations! I am copying them into a notepad file to check into tomorrow.

I read the Into the Wilderness series that was more historical fiction than romance, and really enjoyed them all. There was love stories and some sex, but what was really notable was that one character married and was a widow in the next book. I thought that would bother me, but when I got to the story that focused on her I was okay with it. So, anyway, what I was attempting to say is that I've also been branching out.

Oh no!!! Hope everything works out.

I like having an almost-reading-twin.

I realized I have a few unread books that I'd bought with my last decent Kobo coupons (haven't bothered with the last few contests), one of them being Marsha Canham's Robin Hood Trilogy. I also bought a 99 cent sale that's a re-release of a western or colonial, which I was going to post but saw has gone back to regular price. Rats! Anyway, hoping one of these or a title you guys mentioned will work! I have some contemporary books in Mount Readmore, so maybe I'll go that direction for something different.
