Arthur Upfield in life plus 50 public domain
Arthur W Upfield died in 1964, so all of his books (except the last, The Lake Frome Monster, which was finished after his death by another writer) are in Life+50 public domain.
He created detective Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte, half indigenous Australian, half European, who solved numerous outback, and sometimes urban, mysteries from 1929 to 1964. He also wrote a small number of non-Bony novels early in his career.
