The storm moved a little farther offshore and we got (a lot) less snow than we expected. It's about 4 inches deep out there. It down as dry, powdery snow, but we got some sleet mixed in at the end and it now has a granular consistency. I don't really have the right kind of snow shovel for it, but I'm making good progress.
We're supposed to get sun tomorrow. The slope of our driveway faces southwest and if I scrape down the snow to expose some blacktop the sun will do the rest of the job.
