This is one of the art house cinemas and they regularly show classics. Gone with the Wind was such a success this month (they showed it twice) that they are going to show it again in autumn.

However, Gone with the Wind did take take until 1949 to be shown in Dutch cinemas due to the Second World War (original release was in 1939).

But your post makes me think that I wouldn't mind seeing Gone with the Wind on the big screen as I've only seen it on my television. The vivid colors typical of those 1940's movies that did invest in color filming have a quality that you don't see in modern movies anymore. I think it would look good on the big screen.
