Well, I can care about them so long as I am the one doing the playing. What I don't get is why anyone cares about watching someone else play. Does it improve your own game, I ask? Does it in fact have any significance other than as a handy source of random depression?
Of course not, but it is "a guy thing" (except when it's a girl thing) so it is supposed to be magically understood.
I cannot say being a guy has helped me understand...
Nevertheless, for some peope it is literally all they can talk about. All freaking day. And people wonder why I prefer books.
