Our news here is certainly full of the potential doom and gloom. My daughter just got in from pearl harbor and they are headed for upstate New York for the next posting. They're taking every advantage possible of the allotted travel time and will be on the road for close to a month. I'm glad they are missing this hit, but with the way the northeast has been taking hits so far, they are not very far out of the danger zone. When I found out where they were being stationed, I bought them each a pair of snowshoes. They're both avid snow sports people and also teach skiing and snowboarding. Yeah, it's kind of a family thing. We're all addicted to that white powdery substance
