After many digressions and interruptions (and quite a few eBooks!) I recently finished the biography of Benjamin Thompson, Count Rumford that I wrote about in this earlier post. It's dead-tree format, not an eBook. You'll probably have to get it via inter-library-loan.

I can't recommend it highly enough! If you have the slightest interest in history, history of science, international skullduggery

, general roguery

, or late 18th and early 19th-century political-science, you should make certain to READ THIS BOOK!!
