Ah yes, that's one the main reasons I've ignored python scripts, I don't really like the idea of running in debug-mode

thinking aloud: be better if it was in a PI so the rest of can enjoy the fruits of your labour. Maybe add books preferences could have a hook to a PI that if not null it could get a call after book is added, but before its deleted from the autoadd folder, if that's in play.
