That's not my experience, though. I find it very easy to activate this feature if you're tapping or even swiping on the left of the screen to turn back a page.

Combine that with the twitchiness of the slider to set the light level, and the uneven gradient in the intensity of the light in response to that slider (on my Aura HD, there's a massive difference in the light intensity between, for instance, 28% and 31%), and it's annoying that it's so easy to alter your light settings unintentionally because of this feature.

Any non-basic feature that can be activated by touch on the screen should have an on/off toggle in the settings, I reckon.
