Your OS keeps a set of root certificates from various trusted certificate authorities. These are used for validating the individual certificates for each web site when making a secure connection.

Most systems are set up to maintain root certificates without any user intervention. You don't need to do anything involving Go Daddy. They just happen to be the certificate authority that OverDrive used for their digital certificates.

It is hard to suggest actions to correct the problem without knowing the platform you are using to run calibre. Each OS handles certificate management differently.
