Okay, someone misunderestimated the snow we were going to get.* By late last night we had five inches of heavy, dense snow, and it was still snowing like mad. Then it changed to rain this morning. We now have about three inches of the heaviest "snow" I've ever encountered! Our house is on a hill and the driveway goes up that hill. I got my minivan up before it started, but my wife's car is still at the bottom, so the driveway has to get cleared. I'm about one third done -- I'm breaking the job into thirds and taking good breaks in between.
*In all honesty, the forecast seems to have been pretty accurate overall -- we just live in a little band that got an unusually high amount. Yay us!
