Turned off the firewall. Same messages
This is like a brand new computer, and brand new Calibre. I am checking to see if I might have changed something else. I wasn't getting metadata downloads of the book summary, but I had turned off downloading comments. I will report back if I find anything. I really love sending by email, but sideloading is effective, as well.
