But you don't need anything like PRS Plus on a Kobo. Kobo has options for settings changes and the patches are very easy to apply. You can install Kobo Start Menu (KSM) and Koreader if you want. You do not have to root Kobo Readers. Also, you do have a web browser and games as part of the firmware.
The screen on H2O is much better than on any Sony Reader. I have a 650 & a T1 and the screen on the T1 is better than the 650. The extra .8" is done properly that it gives more screen space then the 7" screen of the 950.
