kobo glotruncates a pdf's right and bottom side
Hello everyone,
I've just bought a new Kobo glo. I've heard that ereaders don't handle pdf's very well, but I've tried to move a couple of pdf's on it anyway. Ideally, I would just like it to display the entire pdf page on screen, without cropping anything; I don't mind that much if this results in small letters.
Strangely enough, this works for at least one pdf that I've moved on the kobo glo, but it fails miserably for another pdf. For the latter pdf, it crops a quite large part of the right and bottom of the text, and inserts blanc space. Here is a picture I made with my phone of the ereader:

Is there a way to tell the ereader to ALWAYS show the entire pdf page of any pdf that I put on it?
ps. I am aware of calibre, and have considered simply converting it to epub, but it includes page numbers and other weird headers and footers that make it unworkable.

EDIT:
After checking again, I think the pdf that gets truncated contains "selectable" text. whereas the one that works fine simply consists of scans from a paper book. How do I get the selectable text one to work, does anyone know?
