don't assume that .mobi as an extension means that it is an actual mobi file. Also do not assume a .prc extension is actually a mobi file. Amazon messes around with extension a lot and misuses them at will. The internal format could easily be KF8 and still have the same extension as an actual mobi file from 10 years ago.
