The size is very pocketable, more so than my other phones, so I'm thinking of getting a cheap pay as you go plan from H2O, Airvoice or PureTalk (all AT&T based) so I could just take the 520 when I don't want to carry multiple electronic devices around. I do miss some android apps, but it seems like the best compromise when the other phones are too large. But how's the call quality?
Quality seems good to me (although I haven't used it for a lot of voice calls yet). I like the size too because I don't have a data plan so I don't need a massive screen.

I use "Swiss Army Knife" for shopping lists. It actually has a whole bunch of neat functions as the name would suggest (including a shopping list) and I think it will sync with Android (I did have it on my Android as well). The shopping list is nice as you can have items categorized by aisle and then just flip through the screens for each aisle as you go. That way it doesn't matter what order you enter items in the list, only the ones for where you are currently at (i.e. meat, dairy) show up which makes it easier not to miss or have to go back. It is free.
