This is the 6th in Kaminsky's Abe Lieberman series of police procedurals, originally released in 2000, featuring 60-something Jewish policeman Abe Lieberman, and his Irish parter Bill Hanrahan.
For those who aren't familiar, Kaminsky received a Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award in 2006, and I can't think of anyone who deserved it more. His writing is dark, humorous, and full of hope, ethos & pathos.
