Love Slave by Mallory Rush is her standalone-looking f/m contemporary romance with suspense elements (but apparently not enough to be filed with the actual romantic suspense by either the customer reviews or the category tags), now retroactively slotted as the 1st in her Outlaws and Heroes series starring the intersection of Lawful Plucky heroines encountering Neutral Bad Boy anti-heroes, or however the HQN D&D alignment chart would go, this one involving a PI looking into the quote-unquote "white slave" trade, free courtesy of publisher ePublishing Works! (exclamation mark theirs), who are e-printing it from its 1994 Harlequin edition.

Description
Rand Slick knows the white slave trade is alive and well. But not even his wealth and power can buy access to the slave bazaar.
Rand needs a woman... with very special talents.
Private detective Rachel Tinsdale is facing the most dangerous assignment of her career: being auctioned off as a Wall Street mogul's plaything.
Then the nights bring new danger: an aching desire to share in Rand's shadowy secrets and show him the pleasures of a woman who is no man's slave.
