Check the device driver preferences. Looking at the Kindle 2/3/4/Touch/Paperwhite I see the following options:
  • Send page number information when sending books
    • fast
    • accurate
    • pagebreak
  • Custom column to retrieve page counts from
  • Custom column name to retrieve calculation method from
  • Overwrite existing apnx on device
