Maybe sooner.
The low-spec Linux model from intel runs US$80 and the generic version of the high spec Windows model can be had for $110 or so.

The things are basically tablets minus screens or batteries and we *have* seen intel-based low end tablets in the $100 range so I wouldn't be surprised to see an OEM version of the low-end model in the $60 range right now.

All a question of looking in the right place, I think.
