Well said... I love my 505, out of all the models available I believe it is the best out there, -for me-. Just like the Kindle, the features of the 700 are not enough of an interest to me to make me want it anymore then design of the 505. And in several ways detract. But other people have different wants/needs and I hope that what they purchase works out great for them...
As for me, the screen is a killer. It seems as though a new user would be better then someone migrating from a 505 as the comparison between contrasts wouldn't be a problem. Or a 505 user would be better to have a short interim without eInk. Perhaps stowing the 505 for a month and reading on a laptop or such. Not taking advantage of the touchscreen for dictionary support is another.
