I read Dune first and saw the movie about 10 year later I think. I enjoyed them both, but was still a bit puzzled about the movie. Tried rereading the book, which I still had, but that didn't work out for me. Found it tedious. Same with rewatching the movie a few years ago.

Still both have their strong points and I enjoyed both the first time around.
