Kindleunpack has been working like a charm up to this point. It's a magazine file that calibre's ebook viewer can display successfully.
That looks like an issue with the core KindleUnpack code. I'll see if I can get the attention of the person who's done most of the ePub3 implementation work.

Any chance you're equipped to use the standalone KindleUnpack script? That way you could enable debugging in order to generate more output that could shed some additional light.
