i'm an Aussie too. I bought my Voyage through Readershop before xmas, delivery was 2 days from memory. The 3G works fine in Australia, logged in and it linked up with my existing Amazon account. Even easier than my kindle keyboard.The ONLY difference for Aussies is Amazon won't sell us the Voyage themselves yet, functionally there is no problem or limitations, Readershop were easy to deal with and included a disc of free ebooks to get you started.

btw i got the non-ad 3D/wifi version. bought books on amazon download to my voyage straight away. so being in australia presents absolutely no problem.
