I just can't see anything. In the past 30 days I installed a scanner I never use and one program I've never used but just uninstalled anyway. Weird this just started out of the blue. I certainly haven't changed anything in the past week.

Doesn't matter at the moment. I'm having big withdrawal pains without my books. Gotta go do that downgrade NOW. Then start shopping for new hardware. Am I understanding correctly that you recommend 64 bit?
