The Loved One and myself don't buy each other Christmas presents (only birthday), though occasionally we'll buy something "for the house". The extended family usually does "Secret Santa", which would give us the job of buying a present each for our assigned individuals in the family, but I suspect that may fall by the wayside this year too.

This Christmas (unlike last, when 14 family members stayed at my place for a fortnight or so) it would appear that everyone's staying home, and we'll be spending it with just the two of us (and a friend flying up from Sydney for a few days from Christmas evening). I'm kind of pleased with that.

Which reminds me, I've got to put our Christmas tree up...
