Hi,

The battery is good - I bought it from a well known supplier with good products.
It had enough charge for Kobo Aura running with light for hours. I wanted to discharge the new battery quickly and see if it charges normally, because after we installed the new battery we tried charging it and there were some strange behaviour (strange % change).
I wanted do discharge fully and see the charging process and it failed to charge as you know.

- The Ahura HD is supplying about 4V if no battery is installed, so it is not that it delivers bad voltage.
- But if a battery is installed the voltage starts dropping and in seconds is stopped.
- The battery is new and has its IPC (I think they called it like this - - this is the protection of the battery) and moreover some more batteries were tried with the same result, so it is not the battery that causes problems.

I think only two possibilities exists (but I might be wrong, please correct my thinking if so):
1) Maybe some chip on the reader that detects the charge of the battery has gone mad and think that it is charged and that is wh it stops the process
2) Some check for compatibility of the batteries is installed on the Aura HD (but the battery placed is also 3.7V 1500 mAh as the original battery?!)

What do you think?
