Ah it's just he's jealous of Ranger.
As soon as he heard Ranger talking he got all bratty. (Ranger is a character in the Stephanie Plum series.) As I was downloading the Audible I hit X-Ray which is awesome and shows all the places each character is mention. So I tapped on Ranger result and it started reading from that page.
